The fact that I can tell that was done on canvas board sort of urks me..but then again High Life is cheap beer, so maybe it was done on purpose. The signature is pretty jarring too, almost as important at the beer. It'd be nice to hear from the artist on this one.

Actually, it wasn't done on canvas board, it's on canvas. I like the texture. It's meant to be jarring. High Life is an obnoxious beer, so I went with it.

What i really like about this peice is the richness to the colors, the lovely depth of the red background contrasting with the green in a label is quite striking.

if you wanted to be "jarring" and "obnoxious" i would maybe suggest finding a different way to do that rather than letting the texture of the canvas show through because to me the texture of the canvas just makes things look unfinished..
